The holiday apartment for rent is located in Colonia de Sant Jordi , a small, quiet fishing resort in the Balearic island of Mallorca, to the South East of Palma.
Some of the best beaches in the island are located nearby and can be reached within a reasonable walking time. The harbour of Colonia de Sant Jordi and the local beach are only 3 minutes walk away. Many more beaches are within a 10 minutes drive from the apartment.
The views out to sea are stunning as the sun sets on the day.
THE VILLA
This holiday rental is located on the second floor and is one of just 6 apartments in this quiet building, and a spiral staircase is a central feature of this apartment that spans two floors. The living area is approximately 80 sq meter, with 25 sq meters of balcony/terrace.
There are 3 large double bedrooms, 2 family bathrooms, and an open American-style kitchen. The main living area opens onto a balcony and a terrace on the second floor.
Lounge Room: with doors opening onto the balcony, dinning table, sofa and television.
Kitchen: A well fitted American style arrangement that includes electric hob, microwave/grill, washing machine, oven, dishwasher and a fridge. Saucepans, utensils, crockery and glassware are provided.
THE ACCOMMODATION (3 double bedrooms sleep 6)
Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with built-in wardrobes (with ensuite)
Bedroom 2: Double bedroom equipped with a sofabed and a wardrobe.
Bedroom 3: Double bedroom equipped with two single beds. This bedroom is located in the upper level close to the terrace.
Bathroom 1: Bath/shower and toilet (ensuite to Bedroom 1).
Bathroom 2: Shower and toilet.
AREA
Colonia de Sant Jordi, is bustling with activity during the Summer months, and the apartment is just far enough away to allow peace and tranquillity. There is a local fishing industry located in the port and a marina. Supermarkets and other small retailers are within a reasonable walking distance, and a good range of shops, banks, cafes, restaurants and bars are all within easy reach.
Beaches and the Coast:
Colonia de Sant Jordi is truly a jewel in the Mediterranean that attracts people, including locals, to the beautiful and enviromentally protected beaches in the area. The port and local beach is a three minute walk from the apartment. At the port are small shops, bars and seafood restaurants (amongst others). During the summer, there is a daily boat service linking the port with the protected island of Cabrera. This excursion lasts for one day, including an amazing visit and swim in the blue cave, which derives its name from the incredible blue
waters.
Es Dolç beach can be reached by a 15 minutes walk from the apartment and many other local beaches are only a 5 to 20 minutes journey by car, including the naturist beach at Es Trenc, Ses Covetes, Es Carbó, etc...
LOCATION
Palma International Airport – 40 minutes drive (50 km) South East of Palma.
Car hire is recommended for exploring the island and local area. As the island is relatively small, most places can be reached by car in an hour or so.
Parking is available at the apartment building.

The price range per week is from €400 per week to €800. Please enquire about the prices for longer rental periods.

Each week there is a complimentary cleaning service. Linen and towels provided (incl. beach towels).
Andratx countryside: - Child friendly villa with pool. Situated in the countryside and just a few minutes by car from Andratx beach. Heating, air conditioning and Broadband Internet for year round family holidays with children. 2010: Available until May 7th, 14th May to 13th June, 21st to 28th august, September 4th to 11th, from 4th October.

The villa is surrounded by magnificient places that you can visit, the beach is only 3 km away. 2010: Available until May 8th, May 22nd to 29th, June 8th to 19th, June 26th to July 24th, August 7th to October 3rd and from October 9th onwards.
Luxury villa overlooking Puerto Andratx: This air conditioned villa is very private and has spacious living areas for family holidays. Covered terraces, out-door dining and a pool terrace make this a luxury rental. The twin garage has a lift for taking shopping down to the kitchen, although the temptation of the waterfront restaurants in Puerto Andratx means that aperatives and breakfast are the only meals likely to be taken on the terrace dining area. 4 bedrooms, sleeps 8. 2010: Good availability.
Cala D'or : Ground floor apartment with large terrace and view of the marina sleep 6. The apartment is furnished to a high standard.Overlooks the sophisticated inernational marina with its many superb reataurants and bars,which can be reached within a 3 minute walk. 2010: Available from April 11 - 15, May 5 - 15 and from 11 September onwards.
Alcudia:Family holiday 3 bedroom villa near Puerto de Pollensa in quiet part of popular resort 2010: Available 16 April - 18 May, 29 May - 8 June, 6-13 July, 3-10 August and 31st August onwards.
Andratx countryside: - cottage and self contained apartment in countryside between Port Andratx and Andrax village a few minutes by car from beach. The accommodation comprises of a "Casita" (small cottage) and/or a double room in the main house. 2010: Good availability.
Make sure you travel comfortably - if you're going to the beach or camping - or if you fear an airport delay - pack a good airbed / lilo in your luggage!
