The apartment has a south/south-west-facing balcony which looks out over the beach and the Atlantic Ocean.
and its Health Spa are all just a stroll away, so guests are guaranteed a luxurious, relaxing holiday near a fabulous beach and countryside.
The recently-built complex has a heated swimming pool (available from mid-June to mid-September). Alongside the pool, there is a restaurant and a bar (which also offers delicious snacks). The restaurant's superb menu and wonderful views of the sea have given it the reputation of being the best restaurant in the region.
The complex is extremely safe and secure - making it perfect for holidaymakers of all ages. A lift and stairs are available to all floors of the complex. And with direct access to the beach, and bus and "petit train" services into St-Jean-de-Monts, there is no need for a car.
Located near the coastal resort of St-Jean-de-Monts in the Vendée, we have
three spacious apartments available for self-catering holidays. The
apartments are in the smart, modern Pamplemousse Apartments complex - which
has direct access to the beach. apartment has a private,
south/south-west-facing balcony with stunning sea views. The view to the
rear of the complex is over a lake and a pine forest.
The apartment sleeps six people and has an open-plan lounge/dining area
with a dining table and chairs, a television, a hi-fi (CD and radio) and a
selection of books and games.
The apartment has a DVD player, with some English films provided. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a hob, an oven, a dishwasher, a fridge and a microwave oven. There is a laundry room on the ground floor.
There is a double bedroom (with built-in wardrobes), a bedroom with bunk beds and a second double bed (not a sofa bed!) in the corner of the main room. The bathroom has a large bath with a shower fitment, and a washbasin. There is also a separate toilet. Other equipment provided in these two apartments includes an iron, an ironing board, pillows and blankets, a cot and a high chair, and sun loungers on the balcony. Electricity and central heating are included in the price.

Activities in the Vendee
The Pamplemousse Apartments are on the outskirts of the cosmopolitan town of St-Jean-de-Monts. The town is a short walk away along the beach, or you can use the bus service or the "petit train" which travel regularly between the town and the apartments. The "olde village" of St-Jean-de-Monts is now half a mile inland (due to land reclamation) and has daily markets throughout the summer, or twice weekly at other times of the year.St Jean de Monts has a wide choice of restaurants and bars which serve a variety of the excellent local delicacies. The Casino, which is situated on the seafront, has a good restaurant - making it a "must" for a night out during your stay. If you are lucky enough to be visiting the area during the Fête Maraîchine (the Marshland Games), watch out for the Canal Jumping and Cow-Pat Throwing Competitions.
As well as the famous St-Jean-de-Monts golf course, there is a Health Spa near to the apartment complex. It offers a full range of beauty and health treatments. The first nine holes are in the pine forest - with some tricky bunkers and hazards - while the final nine holes border a glorious stretch of beach with wonderful views of the ocean. The Club has been called "one of the best courses in Western France".
