At our holiday house you're staying in one of the most rural atmospheres and yet
only a stone's throw from the convenience of civilisation (1950s and 1960s style) at L'Escala nearby. Whilst the Costa Brava is known for the horrors of Lloret de Mar, the Benidorm of the Costa Brava, Empuries, L'Escala and Roses retain the charm of places for civilised family holidays. This is truly the St Tropez of Spain ( or perhaps nowadays the Menton). A little way around the bay is the Parc Natural dels Aiguamolls de l'Emporda - famous for birdwatchers on the migration route.
Our holiday villa has a large open plan living room and fully equipped kitchen.

The main bedroom has a sun terrace!
The second sunny terraces,is on the ground floor terrace and is enclosed for children. Five sandy beaches within a few minutes safe walking distance. Restaurants, bars and shops are in nearby San Marti, L'Escala. Girona and French border - 30 minutes, Barcelona and Perpignan 90 minutes drive. Many mediaeval villages nearby and the Greco Roman ruins of Ampurias are 500 yards from house. Ideal for families, cyclists, historians, nature lovers and golf players.
